These three little kiddos missed their daddy! And mommy missed him even more! Loved the younger daughter's reaction when the busses showed up--she just started sobbing, none of us could figue out why she was crying, but it made me tear up! She couldn't stop sobbing while hugging him for the first time--it was both beautiful, heart wrenching, and comicial :) Thanks for letting me share in this moment you guys! Enjoy your time as a party of five once again!

Welcome Home Mike!
I just love love love shooting homecomings! Can I say it enough? Nope! I just get all wrapped up in the moment every time. For Melissa and Emma, this moment was long anticipated and certainly an amazing emotional high!
This was incredible! The moment the marines walked into the gym and she saw her daddy she was just screaming "DADDY" at the top of her lungs, then she looks to her mommy saying "there he is!!" So hard to wait while they stand in formation waiting to be released to the families...
That's when my tears started!
Talk about a 'pick me up' for Emma, she was sorta 'out of sorts' while we were waiting, I couldn't get very many real smiles out of her...then daddy showed up and BAM! Can't wipe the smile off if I tried! That is a beautiful thing.
Thank you again guys for including me in your moment. I really enjoyed it all! Congrats and thank you to Mike for all you did for our country.

Welcome Home!
Man do I love shooting homecomings! It just inspires me to go home and hug my hubby...really look at him long and hard and say "I love you!" The excitement of this young couple was very contagious, and despitethe horrendous weather, her soaring spirits kept mine up as well :)
Its hard to read here, but they were texting back and forth all morning with updates as to how close they were getting before the big moment...adorable ;)
I've been wondering if this is corny or cool--the color edits on black and white...but the response has largely been cool...huh! Maybe I'll do more like this...
LOVE this photo. The cold and the rain and they are still madly and deeply in love in this moment...I almost like all of the rain drop lense spots...adds character and telling of the day I suppose.
All in all, a wonderful moment I feel blessed to be a part of! Thank you for including me, it was so fun meeting you guys :) Welcome home! A job well done for both of you.

The anticipation and excitement is completely contagious :) Thanks for sharing your moment with me.
Can you see the JOY in these faces! oh the aniticipation! THRILLING!
I don't think you need to say a whole lot about this--the photos say it all! How happy they are to be together again, congrats you guys!
