Zeke Turns One!

 

What an adorable little man with a big personality!  And talk about HIGH energy :)  Zeke's mom and dad worked really hard to get this little guy to face the camera and look excited--but all the singing and toy waving worked--I ended up with a lot of fun Zeke-spressions!  Thanks again for all your hard work guys!  And thanks for giving me the opportunity to photograph your pride and joy. 

 

Happy Birthday little guy!

"Lena Birthday Comin up!"

My little girl is TWO years old now!  And she will be the first to tell you..before her birthday she would say all day long "Lena birthday comin up!" now she says "Lena birthday all done, Lena a big girl now!"    We did a little tree climbing photoshoot the day before her birthday.  She's growing up so fast!

Baby J i s already 7 months old!

Baby Jameson is gonna break some hearts someday! He is absolutely adorable and I get the great honor of being his aunt!  Which means I will shamelessly use him as a model as I practice my photography skills... ;)  What an easy model--every picture turns out when you are this cute!

Love this!  Andi leaned in for a kiss and so did J!  A big slobbery wide open mouth kiss!

Love you guys so much!  Next time I see him we will be taking his one year photos!  Time goes too fast...a good reminder to keep capturing the kiddos as they are today on (digital!) film...because they will only be this way today...and then they are all grown up.

Sophie Grace

I had the pleasure of taking pictures an old friend from my growing up years' daughter while on vacation a few weeks ago.  What a cooperative little adorable girl!  18 month old Sophie was a joy to photograph--and I learned a valuable lesson about taking 'attention getter toys'--they WANT them...perhaps next time I'll take a cute one we wouldn't mind IN the photos...

A Family Shoot at the Ranch House

This beautiful family are friends of ours from my hubby's squadron and they happen to live in the neighborhood!  We did a quick 60 minute shoot before church one Sunday at the Ranch House on Camp Pendleton--what a great location!  We had a good time--aren't they an adorable family?!

A healthy and handsome baby boy was born into this family last week. Congrats you guys!

Practice and Picnic at Balboa Park

The San Diego Photog group I belong to held a practice session at Balboa Park where we were practiced our skills on each other.

This is Jen--an adorable, young, up and coming actress who came to help us practice and glean some 'headshots' in the process!

Yvonne is my photography mentor--she's taught me so much and has inspired me in so many ways to dive into this hobby of mine.  She's so much fun to be around and easy to photograph!

Delmy and Briana--another photog friend and her sweet little girl :)  I think the kids had as much fun being 'models' as we had 'shooting' them!

My Favorite Model

She's my white whale of a photography model--getting good shots of her face is near impossible for me!  But today I lucked out :)  Isn't she just gorgeous!
